I love coffee! And I'm not just talking about the daily caffeine intake but everything about it. Making the perfect espresso, decorating it with beautiful latte art, and finally taste it can be very ecstatic.

I get a decent espresso out of my machine. However, my latte art skills are very poor if not non-existent. So far I've not bothered with research latte art, hoping I'd be getting it by trial and error, but unfortunately I don't seem to have a natural talent for it.

The next few days I'll be googling latte art and hopefully get some easy design patterns going.

Wish me luck!

I, myself, am no stranger to coffee.

But I have no appreciation of latte art.

I’m more interested in the taste than the looks of it. For looks, I prefer to look at sand art while I sip a delightful cup of “joe.” Or view ice art, for that matter.

My family has a personal history to “joe.” I invite you to experience our history with coffee at:

For me, true “joe” is a rich family history going all the way back to the old country. Every morning I enjoy a pleasurable time of reconnection. A meditative experience, if you will of the now and the then.

Best wishes in creating your own tradition with coffee, whatever it may be.

    The journey is the destination.
